    (10-16) 17:33 PDT — If Campolindo’s 2011 football season would have made a good Hollywood blockbuster – as coach Kevin Macy suggested – then its 2012 campaign is worthy of some Independent Spirit Awards.

    Not nearly as spectacular, but perhaps as unlikely, the 15th-ranked Cougars are 6-1 with their only defeat 16-14 at No. 8 El Cerrito – a game in which their late 38-yard field goal attempt narrowly missed. They have won 20 of their past 22.
