Cougar Football Overview

The Campolindo High School Football Program provides student athletes the opportunity to learn and compete in the sport of football on one of three teams (Freshmen, Junior Varsity and Varsity). All students in good academic standing are welcome and encouraged to participate. There are no cuts based on ability – this program finds a way for every player to contribute.

The Campolindo Football Program boasts a highly experienced coaching staff.  Head Coach, Kevin Macy, oversees the direction of the program on all fronts.  Our position coaches are skilled “teachers of the game” dedicated to coaching the players in how to succeed both on and off the field. In addition, the program employs certified trainers to oversee and guide the players in proven weight and conditioning techniques.  All participants benefit from having an expert athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon on staff to assist them with any health or injury related issues.

This is one of the premier high school football programs in the state of California having won four consecutive NCS Championships and appearances in four state championship bowl games. The Cougars brought home 2 State Championship titles in three years, 2014 and 2016.  Teamwork, brotherhood and dedication are the pillars for the program’s success.  Students who participate develop lasting friendships, strong character traits and a readiness to contribute to society.
