There’s Plenty On The Line As Regular Season Starts To Wind Down

Contenders: Clayton Valley Charter (5-1, 1-0), Concord (5-1, 1-0), Campolindo (4-2, 1-0).

What has happened: Clayton Valley, which has a roster loaded with talent, opened league play with a 43-13 rout of previously unbeaten Miramonte. Concord and Campolindo also had one-sided league-opening victories.

What is next: Clayton Valley visits Concord on Friday, with the winner taking a significant step toward the league title. Campolindo travels Friday to archrival Miramonte and also has games left against Concord and Clayton Valley.
