Summer Football Camps

Campolindo High School offers conditioning, instructional and skill building opportunities for varying age groups during the summer months. 

 

2013 Summer Conditioning Camp

Weight Training
  
Sponsored by the Cougar Club for incoming Freshman, JV and Varsity players, this camp is run by Frank Candela (former USC Trojan football player). The weight training program offers an overview of proper weight training techniques and focuses primarily on specific conditioning drills. The weight training camp is sponsored by the Cougar Club so there is no cost to the player.
 
 
 
SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness)
 
Open to JV and Varsity players, the Speed, Agility and Quickness class will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from either 10:00 - 11:00 or 11:00 - 12:00 on the football field. Refer to the schedule attached below for workout times by week for the JV and Varsity players. The SAQ Training will cost $150 per participant for the summer, payable to the Cougar Club.

 Saturday, June 23rd at DVC for all Varsity (except lineman), approx 8:00-6:00

Varsity Camp at Campo, July 9-20, 9:30-12:00

 Varsity Skyline Camp (approx fee $60, cash only 1st day of camp), Oakland, July 12-13, 3:00-6:00pm,  (all Varsity)

July 14, 9:00-12:00pm (Lineman & Running Backs)

  Menlo Passing League, Saturday July 14th all Varsity (except lineman) and Coach McGinn Campout following

 

 

Junior Varsity Summer Camp

Dates:  July 8-19 (Monday-Friday), 9:30-12:00 pm

2013 Freshman Football Camp

Dates:  July 8 thru July 19 (Monday-Friday), 1:30-5:00 pm

Freshman Summer Camp is specifically designed for incoming freshman to teach fundamental football skills, strategies

and team building that will be used during the regular fall football season. This is a great way to get your incoming

Freshman ready for the football season and meet some of his new fellow classmates. The camp is run by

Campo's head Varsity coach Kevin Macy and Freshman Head coach Bob Wilson.  It is recommended to attend

both weeks to receive the full benefit of the scheduled program but single week registration is also available.

2013 Cougar Camp (4th-8th grade)

Dates:  July 8 thru July 19, (Monday-Friday), 1:30-5:00 pm

Teamwork, skills, and strategy are the focus at the Campolindo Cougar Camp.

Open to 4th - 8th graders, it is known to be one of the best instructional camps in the area. Group is separated by grade.
